Lockdown Shuffle - The debut original song from Miss Kiddy and the Cads, released November 2020

Music has always boosted spirits in times of struggle - and now as Covid-19 continues to affect our everyday lives, this happiness and positivity are needed more than ever.

In the spirit of togetherness and joy, Miss Kiddy and the Cads wanted to create a song and dance to place mark the pandemic in musical history and to put a smile on the faces of people as they cope with another period of quarantine. This is how Lockdown Shuffle was born!

Miss Kiddy and the Cads are famed for putting their vintage spin on contemporary pop songs from artists such as Beyonce and Bowie and well known on the festival scene (and as seen on ITV’ Loose Women and This Morning), however Lockdown Shuffle is their first original song. The music video features the band at home, along with their friends and supporters who sent in videos of themselves during lockdown, doing activities such as home schooling, dancing in the street, baking, gardening or even just reading the newspaper. The song and video will be a reminder to us all of how we lived and how music kept us going.
